Toby Alderweireld has a £25.4million release clause in his Tottenham contract, according to a leaked report.
Whistleblowers Football Leaks, as cited by French outlet Le Soir, claim that the Belgium international can quit Spurs if a club trigger the clause in his deal.
Le Soir printed parts of Alderweireld’s contract that show the fixed price is €30million, which is equivalent to £25.4million at current exchange rates.

The revelation from the reliable Football Leaks site, which has begun a second spell of divulging information about high profile transfers and contracts, will make Tottenham fans nervous about the possibility of losing one of their key men.
Alderweireld has arguably been the outstanding centre-back in the Premier League since joining Tottenham from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015.
He has established an impressive all-Belgian partnership with countryman Jan Vertonghen that has laid the foundations for Spurs’ improvement under Mauricio Pochettino.
Alderweireld was a key player in Spurs’ title challenge last season and was equally influential in this campaign until suffering a knee injury that has ruled him out of the club’s last 10 matches.
The 27-year-old was close to returning last weekend but once again was not deemed fit enough, although Spurs were able to end a poor run by demolishing Swansea 5-0 at White Hart Lane.
Nevertheless, Alderweireld was sorely missed in the defeats to Chelsea and Monaco that preceded the win against Bob Bradley’s struggling side.
