‘Leandro Trossard receives concrete offers to leave Arsenal for Premier League rivals’
Leandro Trossard could leave Arsenal to join a rival team this summer amid interest in his services from other Premier League sides.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in 2023 for an initial £20million [Sky Sports] fee, and he has largely played a back-up role for the Gunners in the two-and-a-half years since.
Mikel Arteta is looking to freshen up his attacking options this summer, with Arsenal signing Noni Madueke from Chelsea, while Real Madrid winger Rodrygo is also a target for the North London outfit.
The Belgium international could be set to move on soon, as a result, after former scout Mick Brown previously told Football Insider that Trossard could leave Arsenal this summer amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Bayern Munich are interested in his services right now [The Guardian], after Fenerbahce were thought to be closing in on a move but talks were put on hold just as he prepared to meet with their chiefs, and now surprising new developments have emerged about his potential destination this summer.

Trossard has offers from two Premier League clubs
Clubs in Italy and Turkey have also registered their interest in Trossard, and he looks to be on the move soon after talks over a new contract at the Emirates hit a stumbling block earlier in the summer.
A new report from Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Trossard has “two concrete offers from Premier League clubs” to leave Arsenal, and so a move away is looking possible ahead of the new season.
Those unnamed clubs are set to have fierce competition for his signature, however, with Plettenberg also stating that Borussia Dortmund are monitoring Trossard ahead of a potential approach for his signature.
Trossard should leave Arsenal as they spend big
Football Insider verdict
Trossard has mostly played a back-up role at the Emirates over the last few years, but he did manage to make 28 league starts last term, which came mostly as a result of Gabriel Martinelli’s inconsistent form.
The 30-year-old can be a top Premier League winger when he is on his game, and he netted 10 goals and 10 assists in 56 appearances last term, which is a healthy return but is likely viewed by Arteta as something that can be improved on this summer.
Appearances | Goals | Assists |
124 | 28 | 23 |
Trossard himself should want to depart if he is going to offered less game-time by Arteta, and The Athletic (29 July) have reported that if Arsenal can bring in a wide attacker, they may be willing to listen to offers for either Gabriel Martinelli or Trossard.
The Belgian international is yet to sign a new contract with the club, and he and his new representatives are “(waiting) to see what opportunities the market brings,” so an exit certainly does seem likely if a move to another Premier League club or a Champions League side like Dortmund appeals.
