‘Leave my club’, ‘Fraud’ – Arsenal fans react to David Raya display in 4-3 win against Luton Town

Arsenal fans have ripped into David Raya after his “unforgivable” performance in their 4-3 win against Luton Town on Tuesday night (5 December).

A chaotic affair at Kenilworth Road saw the Gunners 3-2 down before the hour mark, but Kai Havertz notched home an equaliser before Declan Rice saved Mikel Arteta’s blushes with a 97th-minute headed winner.

However, much of the attention was on the Arsenal shot-stopper, who was at fault for two of the Hatters’ goals which nearly cost them points in the tight title race.

He was weak in trying to collect a Luton corner early in the first half which allowed Elijah Adebayo to head home before Ross Barkey’s in-the-box finish went straight through the Brentford loanee.

Aaron Ramsdale was controversially dropped by Arteta in favour of Raya this season, but fans have taken to social media to call out the “home wrecker” and many have called for the Englishman to return to the starting line-up.

Raya is on thin ice with this Gunner after his awful outing.

This fan simply wants the 28-year-old out of the club for good.

One supporter thinks Raya’s time in the starting XI is over and claimed Ramsdale, who watched the action from the bench, would have had no problem dealing with Luton’s attempts.

Another fan wants Ramsdale back in the net.

This fan slammed Raya’s “shambolic” display.

One fan is losing sleep over Arsenal’s frustrating goalkeeper situation.

This supporter wants Raya to pack his bags as soon as possible and return to West London and was adamant that Arsenal’s title hopes are non-existent with him in the net.

One fan pointed to all of Raya’s mistakes this season and urged Ramsdale to return.
