Leeds agree sixth signing after Manor Solomon medical update – sources

Manor Solomon is undergoing a Leeds United medical today after a loan deal has been agreed with Tottenham, sources have told Football Insider.

The 25-year-old will become Leeds’ sixth summer signing after Joe Rodon, Largie Ramazani, Alex Cairns, Joe Rothwell, and Jayden Bogle.

The West Yorkshire giants have been in the market for a winger after losing Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.

Daniel Farke has wanted to add further depth and quality to this area of the pitch, which he’s securing with the Tottenham winger.

Solomon has only made six appearances for Spurs since joining from Shakhtar Donetsk, as a knee injury has hindered his progress.

His last game for the Premier League outfit was last September, with a loan move giving him a chance at more regular playing time.

Manor Solomon will solve Leeds’ winger woes

Adding wide forwards has been a priority for Leeds in the past week, with the pressure increasing after the club missed out on Jonathan Rowe.

The former Norwich City winger opted to sign for Marseille despite interest from the Whites.

Solomon will tick that box for Leeds though, especially due to his versatility of being able to play on either flank or as an attacking midfielder.

The Israel international has experience in English football after spells at Fulham and Tottenham, having played 24 times in the Premier League.

Solomon has scored 35 goals and provided 17 assists throughout his entire career, having played at the highest level in Europe in the Champions League.
