Leeds are 'struggling' as casualty list mounts after crushing BBC update - Campbell
Kevin Campbell insists Leeds need to weather the storm as they suffer through an injury crisis.
The Arsenal icon, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest Whites injury update.
On Thursday (15 September) BBC Sport reported Diego Llorente has joined the already absent Robin Kock and Adam Forshaw on the casualty list, while Pascal Struijk is suspended.
Llorente picked up a knock against Liverpool last weekend with an injury expert telling this site Leeds will be “embarrassed” by the recurring knock.
Forshaw made his return after a long spell on the sidelines in the Carabao Cup but has been ruled out of action until next week at the earliest.
Campbell claims Leeds face a difficult few weeks as they continue to struggle in the Premier League.

“It’s difficult for Leeds,” Campbell told Football Insider assistant editor Dylan Childs.
“Because the players haven’t played a lot of football, that doesn’t help. Sometimes the best ability is having that availability.
“When you haven’t had players available for long stretches, you have to protect them. But that’s difficult.
“They are susceptible to injury. But these are high-level players playing high-intensity games and that is extra intense at Leeds.
“You need to know your players can get through 90 minutes. It’s the last thing Bielsa needs at the moment.
“They are struggling for points so it’s a tough one for Leeds, they need to weather the storm.”
The Whites travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle on Friday night.
Both teams go into the game without a league win on the board this season.
