Confirmed Leeds line-up v Ipswich: Attacker axed in one change

By Matt Farr

Garry Monk has named one change to his Leeds side for their trip to Ipswich in the Championship on Saturday.

Stuart Dallas is the only newcomer to the starting XI, replacing the benched attacker Kemar Roofe, following the narrow 2-1 win over Bristol City on Tuesday night.

Rob Green, Luke Ayling, Kyle Bartley, Pontus Jansson, Gaetano Berardi, Ronaldo Vieira, Eunan O’Kane, Hadi Sacko, Pablo Hernandez, and Chris Wood all retain their places.

Leeds announced their confirmed line-up on the club’s official Twitter account ahead of kick-off.

Liam Bridcutt returns to the bench after completing his one-match suspension.

Charlie Taylor is close to making his return from an Achilles injury, having not featured for Leeds since December, but must wait until Leeds’ clash with Sheffield Wednesday in a week’s time before he will be considered fit for selection.

A win for Leeds would see them maintain their grip on the Championship play-offs, where they are currently fifth – three points behind rivals Reading.

They suffered a minor setback for promotion with back-to-back defeats against Huddersfield and Cardiff, but returned to winning ways against Bristol City last time out.
