Leeds expected XI v Bristol City after final training session: Senior trio axed

Felix Wiedwald (Goalkeeper) – The German is the undisputed number one at Elland Road and that is not about to change any time soon.
Vurnon Anita (Right-back) – With Berardi and the injured Luke Ayling unavailable, that does not mean a square peg must again be slotted into a round hole on the right side of the defence. Stuart Dallas is likely to be discarded in the first of three senior players axed and replaced by the versatile and proven Anita.
Matthew Pennington (Centre-back) – With Liam Cooper serving the final match of a four-game ban, the on-loan Everton player is set to get the chance to continue the good impression he made at Bramall Lane.
Pontus Jansson (Centre-back) – Talisman, defensive leader and arguably the team’s best player, Jansson will be key to keeping Bristol at bay. But he must be careful as another yellow card will mean a two-match ban.
Laurens de Bock (Left-back) – One of the new January recruits that is yet to wow fans but he looks a solid option at left-back and will surely keep his place.
