'Doesn't deserve his place' - Leeds fans blast decision to start senior player v Brentford
By Danny Wright
Leeds United fans on Twitter have blasted Thomas Christiansen’s decision to start Luke Ayling against Brentford at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Ayling, 26, has kept his spot in the Whites starting line-up for their Championship fixture this weekend, as confirmed on the Leeds official Twitter account ahead of kick-off.

Many believe that that senior player has been in a turgid run of form and most want to see him axed from the line-up, with Gaetano Berardi switching from the left-back role into a more natural spot for him on the right side of defence.
Christiansen has regularly played Ayling this season, handing him starts in every single Championship fixture which he has completed 90 minutes of every time.
However many believe that it is time for someone else to have a chance in the side.

True but Ayling doesn’t deserve his place after his recent form. Klich not even got a look in either

Probably our strongest team tbf but no idea how Ayling is getting in this team at the moment.

tbf, think Berardi should be at RB, and Dallas should have stayed at LB.
Ayling very lucky to keep his place imo.— 🙂 (@Max_LUFC) November 4, 2017

Ayling doesn’t deserve to play as harsh as it sounds. Klich not even got a look in and no Anita or Dallas either. Not too happy with it

Would have swapped Berardi to RB and kept Dallas at LB tbh really don’t think Ayling has been good enough

Ayling has been at fault or at least nowhere to be seen for five goals in a row at Elland Road, he needs resting imo.
— Aid (@aid1793) November 4, 2017
Ayling has made 19 appearances across all competitions for the Whites this season and is one of few players to have featured in all Champions and League Cup games.
He may be in need of a rest given that, but Elland Road fans may not be so forgiving, given the run of form that the team are currently in.
Ahead of the clash with Brentford, Leeds have lost five of their last six Championship fixtures.
