Leeds fans blown away after club reportedly in talks to land international ace

By Dominic Toner

Leeds are in talks with Swansea over attacker Modou Barrow – and the club’s supporters are blown away at the prospect of signing him on Twitter.

The Mirror claim that the Whites have begun negotiations with the Premier League side about signing the 24-year-old on loan until the end of the season.

It is understood that Garry Monk is lining up a reunion with Barrow after the pair previous worked together at Swansea.

The report details that Monk wants to sign the attacker to help the club’s bid for promotion as they look to secure a place in the play-off spots.

Leeds fans were pleased that they are in talks to sign the Gambia international, who has been important player for Swansea in the Premier League for the most-part this season.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Barrow is an electric winger that has tested Premier League defences with his pace and trickery.

He has found himself out of the starting line-up since the arrival of new manager Paul Clement as manager, but has still played 19 times already this season.

The winger is certainly a dangerous player, but has been criticised for his finishing as he has managed just two goals in 55 appearances for Swansea.
