Champagne player, Baller - Fans in meltdown over Leeds 18-yr-old's display on Tuesday

By Richard Parks

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Kun Temenuzhkov after his double inspired the club’s Under-18s to a 5-1 demolition of Hull City on Tuesday.

The striker, 18, has now netted four goals in his last three games for the academy side, after also scoring twice in a 5-0 demolition of QPR last week.

Alfie McCalmont, who scored against QPR and against Watford on Saturday, was also on target again on Tuesday to make it three goals in eight days, while Theo Hudson and Bobby Kamwa completed the rout of the Tigers.

Adam Underwood’s Under-18s side have now managed 12 goals in three games as Leeds continue to thrive at age-group level following the overhaul of the academy last summer.

Bulgaria-born Kun, who has also featured for the Under-23s this season, has made a name for himself since joining from Barcelona last summer.
