Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to call for Sam Dalby to be promoted from the Under-23s into the first team squad following his latest masterclass.

United’s development side continued their impressive run with a convincing 4-0 win against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Monday night.

Dalby scored the second of his side’s goals with a neat dinked finish on a night when Tyler Denton scored twice and the opener was an own goal as Carlos Corberan’s side ended their Professional Development League campaign in style.

Dalby has made a big impact for United since joining in the January window for a fee of around £250,000 from Leyton Orient.

The 6ft 2in front man has led the line impressively and demonstrated he has a number of strings to his bows with a variety of finishes.
