Leeds fans can’t believe it after Crysencio Summerville fee revealed
Leeds United fans aren’t happy after the club agreed a deal with West Ham for the sale of star winger Crysencio Summerville.
The 22-year-old now looks set to swap West Yorkshire for east London after the two clubs agree a fee of around £25 million.
Football Insider revealed (August 1) that Summerville is set to undergo his West Ham medical today.
Summerville was named Championship Player of the Season following a sensational season that saw him score 19 goals and provide nine assists in the league alone.
West Ham have been in the market for a new left-winger with Summerville being their number-one target but have no intention of stopping there.
Football Insider also revealed (July 30) that West Ham have received the green light from Man United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of a potential move.
Leeds United lacking numbers after Crysencio Summerville West ham deal
Summerville would be the 17th first-team player to depart Elland Road if his move to West Ham goes through as expected.
The club have already brought in Joe Rodon and Jayden Bogle but they are seriously lacking numbers as a grueling Championship season awaits.
Leeds are set to get their league campaign underway against Championship new boys Portsmouth on August 10th as they seek to make up for last season’s disappointment.
The club are yet to lose a single pre-season game so far with impressive victories against Harrogate, Hannover, and Schalke.
Still, fans are disappointed with the fee the club are getting for their star man.
