Leeds fans destroy 22-year-old for performance against Sheffield Wednesday

By Amir Mir

Hadi Sacko played 71 minutes as Leeds recorded a valuable 1-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road – but fans on Twitter slammed his performance.

Chris Wood netted his 20th goal of the Championship season when a lapse in concentration from the away defence allowed the striker to open the scoring.

Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes missed a costly penalty in the second half as goalkeeper Robert Green produced a magnificent save.

During the game, in particular, the first half, Sacko made some good runs but failed to pass to one of his more advanced teammates.

This was proven on the counter during the first period when the Frenchman failed to play the ball forward to Wood as the ball ended up going for a goal kick.

Therefore, it is no surprise that the Elland Road faithful destroyed his performance and questioned how he even gets in the team.

One fan even stated that he must do brilliant things in training to constantly find himself in the starting line up.

Supporters questioned his first touch, his decision making and felt he doesn’t have an ounce of football intelligence.

Nonetheless, the three points are crucial for the Whites as they further cement their place in the top six.

Overall, 22-year-old Sacko was not given much praise for his part in the club’s win against their Yorkshire rivals.
