'Disgusting', 'We are awful' - Leeds fans fume over worrying blow v QPR
Leeds United fans have been left fuming on social media after seeing striker Caleb Ekuban limp off the pitch in their clash with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was left signalling to the bench after going down on the pitch at Loftus Road, with Thomas Christiansen forced to replace him with Pawel Cibicki after just 38 minutes, as confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account.

He appeared in some discomfort as he left the field, which will be a concerning sight for both the club and fans alike considering his injury history.
The summer signing from Chievo Verona only recently rejoined the senior squad after a broken bone in his foot on his first ever Championship outing, with the required surgery leaving him out of action for two months.
Fans turned to Twitter to voice their worries over the blow suffered, with many highlighting the lack of attacking options at Christiansen’s disposal.

And low and behold Ekuban comes off. Bench is disgusting offensively. What’s up with Jack Clarke not being on it.

Another Ekuban's injury. We need some new strikers in Jan, we are awful with Roofe and Cibicki upfront. MOT

Lasogga, Ekuban and Grot all injured. Wonder if we could see Jack Clarke in the squad sooner than intended? #lufc

Since arriving from Italy over the summer, Ekuban has managed to make just seven appearances across all competitions for the Whites, his only goal coming on his debut in the League Cup win over Port Vale.
His injury will be a serious concern for Christiansen, who saw Ekuban’s fellow striker Jay Roy Grot suffer a training ground injury to join Pierre Michel Lasogga in the treatment room.
In other Leeds United news, Christiansen has revealed the club’s plans for the January transfer market.
