Leeds fans make ‘100-points’ prediction after big development
Leeds United fans have wasted no time in expressing their confidence for the season ahead, reacting to the Championship fixture announcement on social media.
Following the release of Leeds’ fixtures in the second tier for 2024-25 – which pits the club at home to Portsmouth in their league opener on 10 August – supporters have claimed Daniel Farke’s side must “walk the league” and aim for a total of over 100 points from 46 games.
In an effort to balance the books at Elland Road before the accounts deadline on 30 June to meet PSR ruling, several player exits have been mooted including that of teenage sensation Archie Gray whom a £20m price tag has been slapped on, reveals Football Insider [24 June].
However, the club’s lucrative partnership deal with Red Bull extinguishes fears somewhat of how many of Farke’s squad would have to be sold.
Leeds accumulated 90 points last season, but in a high standard season were unable to establish themselves in the top two before Wembley heartache against Southampton.
Leeds United fans confident of title win
Whilst Leeds United were unable to get over the line last season, supporters in West Yorkshire are rejuvenated ahead of getting the job done in style in 2024-25 – some even predicting an unbeaten and treble-figure campaign.
