‘Leeds fans make desperate plea to US owners over Daniel Farke sacking’
Leeds fans want Daniel Farke to stay at the club and believe he deserves a shot at proving himself in the Premier League, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed it is “unlikely” that Leeds will part ways with Farke, with the fanbase making a desperate plea to the club’s owners for the coach to be “given a chance” in the top-flight.
Despite leading the club back to the Premier League, Farke’s future has come under scrutiny due to his previous struggles in the division.
During his time at Norwich, the German endured two relegations and holds a win rate of just 12% in the Premier League, overseeing 49 matches with only six wins and scoring 31 goals.
However, those concerns have done little to dampen support at Elland Road. During their emphatic 4-0 victory over Bristol City on 28 April, Leeds fans showed vocal backing for Farke in the stands, underlining a clear message to their owners of their desire for him to remain in charge.

Leeds set to back Daniel Farke after Premier League return
Former English goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Leeds will back Farke this summer, despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future at Elland Road.
Chairman Paraag Marathe is understood to be a strong supporter of the German coach and believes he has the potential to become one of the top managers in European football.
Meanwhile, former Man United chief scout Mick Brown revealed that Leeds are targeting up to six signings in the upcoming window. The club is expected to prioritise a new goalkeeper, full-back, two midfielders, a winger, and a striker, although further reinforcements in other areas are also likely.
It would have felt harsh to part ways with Farke after a campaign that saw Leeds return to the Premier League and rack up close to 200 Championship points across two seasons. However, all signs now point to the club’s hierarchy backing him as they prepare for the challenges of top-flight football.
Kalvin Phillips in line for Leeds return

While central midfield is one of the areas Leeds are looking to strengthen, they may already have a familiar name lined up. Football Insider revealed that Kalvin Phillips is edging closer to a sensational return to Leeds.
Since leaving Leeds in 2022, the England international has endured a difficult spell, falling out of favour at Manchester City and struggling to impress during loan moves to West Ham and Ipswich.
A return to Elland Road would signal a strong statement of intent from the club as they look to build on their promotion — and bringing back a fan favourite like Phillips could help set the tone for a bold and ambitious summer window.
