Leeds fans question the selection of this 25-year-old for Sheffield Wednesday showdown
By Amir Mir
Souleymane Doukara starts for Leeds as they take on Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon – and fans are not happy with his selection.
Garry Monk’s team take on their promotion rivals in front of a packed crowd hoping to continue their charge up the table.
But, fans have questioned why 25-year-old Doukara is starting the game as many felt that the benched Kemar Roofe would have been better off in his place.
Stuart Dallas played in the left-wing role during the last game as his goal helped secure a point for the Whites against Ipswich at Portman Road last Saturday.
Now, the Irishman has been dropped as fans believe those sitting on the bench are much stronger players, in terms of quality, than Doukara.

One fan stated that he doesn’t see the point of the January signing duo of Mo Barrow and Alfonso Pedraza if they are not going to start.
While other believe the powerful attackers selection is of high risk which can come with its rewards.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
We have Dallas, Roofe, Pedraza & Barrow sitting on the bench & Souleymane Doukara starts on the wing.. Mother of Christ.. #lufc

Don't see the point in us signing Pedraza and Barrow on loan if we're gonna keep playing Doukara #lufc

why Douk and no Roofe? …. Roofe was important player over Christmas period, needs to be back in the team!

Think Doukara's got the nod over Dallas for his physical presence. Could prove useful for set pieces at both ends today. #lufc

During the reverse fixture in August, Monk’s side picked up a valuable 2-0 win when strikers Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood found the back of the net for the visitors.
New Zealand international Wood will be looking to do the same in front of his own supporters as he can also score his 20th goal for the club in the Championship this season.
Wednesday are level on points with their weekend opponents, knowing all three points can play a massive part into who finishes in the top six at the end of the campaign.
