
Leeds fans rage after ‘shock’ Patrick Bamford decision
Leeds United fans have been left stunned after Patrick Bamford was snubbed in the awarding of FA Cup Goal of the Season.
Bamford, 30, was overlooked for the award in favour of Man United winger Amad Diallo’s goal against Liverpool, despite scoring a fantastic volley against Peterborough in the third round.
The decision led Leeds supporters to label the award “corrupt” and “fixed”, insisting their striker was “robbed”.
In the wake of the Peterborough wonder-strike, Football Insider shared the amazed reaction of supporters at Elland Road who called for Bamford to be rewarded for his effort.

Bamford finished the season with nine goals from 36 appearances with Leeds, with his only FA Cup goal the pick of the bunch.
Despite the Goal of the Season award being voted for by supporters, many fans of the Elland Road club were left fuming at the decision, labelling it “utterly baffling”, “shocking” and “a joke”.
