Leeds fans rage at ‘shock’ Brenden Aaronson move

Leeds United fans are fuming as Brenden Aaronson will be part of their squad next season following talks with Daniel Farke.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the 26-year-old had positive talks with the boss and is now prepared to return to Elland Road to help with next season’s promotion bid.

The decision represents a shock U-turn for Leeds, with Aaronson initially expected to leave the club before the talks with Farke.

The U.S.A. international left on loan almost immediately after Leeds’ relegation, with his swift exit leaving a sour taste in the mouths of many supporters.

Aaronson arrived at Elland Road from RB Salzburg in a £24.7million deal, going on to make 40 appearances for the club, scoring just one goal and providing three assists.

After his loan spell at Union Berlin, Leeds fans insist he has a lot of making up to do if he wants to win back their support, while some labelled the decision “awful”.

Some fans, however, were willing to stick with him, provided he put in some effort to make up for his previous departure.
