Leeds fans rave about Gnonto as ‘absolutely unbelievable’ footage re-analysed

Leeds United fans have raved about Willy Gnonto’s cross to set up Joel Piroe’s goal in the first half of their victory over Norwich City on Thursday (16 May).

The Italian international sent an inch-perfect ball into the box, with Piroe nodding past Angus Gunn to make it 2-0 to the Whites.

Daniel Farke’s side secured a 4-0 victory over the Canaries as Ilia Gruev, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville also got on the scoresheet at Elland Road.

That means Leeds will now face either West Brom or Southampton in the Championship play-off final at Wembley next week.

Gnonto put in another excellent performance for the Whites, taking his tally to nine goals and three assists for the season.
