Leeds United fans have taken to social media to rave over a photo showing missing midfielder Pablo Hernandez back in training after his injury layoff and are demanding he signs a new contract.
The Whites’ official Twitter account snapped the 32-year-old mid-strike in training on Monday, having been missing from the club’s last two matches.

He suffered a muscle strain in the 2-2 draw against Derby County and was forced to sit out the games against Brentford, which signalled the club’s first victory of 2018 with a 1-0 win, and the bitterly disappointing 3-0 defeat away to Middlesbrough on Friday night.
However, he is back among the first team squad, linking up with his team mates ahead of the crunch clash with Championship table toppers Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Wednesday night.
Fans were understandably delighted to see the Spanish playmaker back in action, but turned to Twitter to demand that the Whites give him a new contract, with his current deal set to expire this summer, where he will become a free agent.
Here, Football Insider have rounded up a selection of the supporters’ best tweets:
Fancy giving him a new contract! We could do with keeping hold of our best players as we don't have many & old snake eyes monk will be eyeing him up if we carry this on.
