Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Adam Forshaw for his performance in the 4-1 defeat to Cardiff at Elland Road on Saturday.
Forshaw, 26, made his home debut against Neil Warnock’s side, but it was certainly one to forget for the midfielder as Leeds were completely battered by the Bluebirds.
The former Middlesbrough midfielder, who signed for £4.5million in January, ended up spending the second-half playing at centre-back after an injury to Pontus Jansson and Gaetano Berardi was sent off for picking up two yellow cards.
Although it was tough for the Whites on Saturday, fans were very pleased with Forshaw’s performance, with one supporter on Twitter saying that the midfielder was “quality” against Cardiff.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Forshaw had dropped down the pecking order at Middlesbrough before he was signed up by Leeds in the recent transfer window.
The former Brentford player has a lot of experience in the Championship and Thomas Christiansen may have seen him as someone to plug the gaps while Eunan O’Kane and Kalvin Phillips were out suspended.
However it seems that by the fans’ reactions, Forshaw should probably get a much more prominent role in the team and potentially take the captain’s armband off Liam Cooper.
In other Leeds United news, it has been confirmed that the Whites have terminated this centre-forward’s deal.
