'Beast', 'Proper player' - Leeds fans rave about senior man after display v Bristol City

By Richard Parks
Leeds United fans took to Twitter to rave about Pierre-Michel Lasogga following his display in their team’s 2-2 Championship draw against Bristol City on Sunday.
The German, 26, was selected to spearhead the United attack for Paul Heckingbottom’s first home match in charge of the team he recently took charge of.
Leeds went two goals down early on to their fellow promotion chasers but bounced back to earn a point through second-half goals from Lasogga and substitute Kemar Roofe.
The on-loan striker could have netted a winner had his header in the last seconds of added time not cannoned off the crossbar.
Leeds fans took to Twitter to hail the powerful front man, labelling him a “beast” and “proper player” who many claim should be signed up permanently by the club.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Lasogga has scored nine goals from 23 Leeds appearances this season, including four in his last five league matches.
In other Leeds United news, former Elland Road goalkeeper Paul Robinson has delivered a brutal verdict on a current first-team regular and urged the club to get rid of him at the end of the season.
