Leeds United have been drawn to play at Premier League side Leicester in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup – and fans on Twitter cannot wait to see if Thomas Christiansen’s men can continue their run in the competition.
The Whites booked their spot in the draw on Tuesday night with a brilliant penalty shoot-out win over a Burnley side which boasted the talents of Chris Wood and Charlie Taylor.
Hadi Sacko and Pablo Hernandez got themselves on the scoresheet for Leeds as they held the Clarets to a 2-2 draw after normal time before no more goals were scored in the additional half an hour.
A tense shoot-out win then kept Leeds’ hopes of creating some cup heroics this season and the club has now confirmed on their official Twitter account that Leicester lie in wait for them in the next round at the King Power.
