Leeds United fans have raved about Pawel Cibicki on Twitter for his performance in the 1-0 win against Norwich at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

Cibicki, 23, made just his first start of the Championship season after impressing off the bench in the win against QPR last week, and it has left the Whites fans scratching their heads as to why Thomas Christiansen has taken so long to start him.

The Swedish attacker got everyone talking when he supplied his second assist in as many games to supply Pontus Jansson’s first-half header to put the Whites in front.

Fans were delighted with Cibicki, with many raving about the quality of his deliveries into the box.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Cibicki moved to Leeds from Malmo in the summer but has only started to figure in the past couple of weeks due to injuries to other first-team members.

Jay-Roy Grot, Caleb Ekuban and Pierre-Michel Lasogga have all been sidelined as of late, as well as Pablo Hernandez, giving Cibicki the perfect chance to impress Christiansen.

It now seems that his place in the team to face Hull at Elland Road is now secure as he looks to continue his impressive form for the Yorkshire giants.

In other Leeds United news, this Whites fringe player has dropped a huge hint about a potential future transfer away from Elland Road.
