'Fingers crossed' - Leeds fans react as left-sided flyer reportedly jets in for medical

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports that Club Brugges have allowed left-back Laurens De Bock to jet in for a medical with the Yorkshire club.
HLN reporter Tomas Taecke claimed on his personal Twitter account on Monday that De Bock, 25, has left the Belgian club’s winter training camp in Spain in order to jet out and sign off on paperwork to finalise a switch to Elland Road.
Thomas Christiansen’s side has been devoid of a natural left-back with first-team quality this season, with traditional right-back Gaetano Berardi emerging as the main man to play out of position.
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is the only natural left-sided defender at Elland Road, but he has been well out of Christiansen’s first-team plans, and his woeful outing against Newport County on Sunday proved the Danish manager to be right.
Now, Leeds do seem to be on the verge of snapping up a left-sided flyer in De Bock, who can also play on the left wing.
Fans seem to be split about the potential signing though, but one says that he has his “fingers crossed” over getting the deal done.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

The Daily Mail has previously reported in their live transfer blog on Sunday [12:28pm] that Wolves and Torino are also interested in De Bock, but he had agreed personal terms to sign for Leeds in a four-and-a-half year deal.

In other Leeds United news, this key player is potentially set to be sidelined until the end of February.
