Leeds United fans have turned to social media to react to news that Thomas Christiansen has named Conor Shaughnessy in the starting line up for the club’s clash against Birmingham City on Saturday.
The Whites revealed their XI against the Blues via their official Twitter account, confirming that the Danish manager had chosen to make two changes from the win over Burton Albion on Boxing Day.

Eunan O’Kane and Ronaldo Vieira drop out of the starting line up to be replaced by Shaughnessy and Kalvin Phillips, with the club looking to extend their recent winning streak to five games.
It was the inclusion of young enforcer Shaughnessy which had fans raving on Twitter, with the 21-year-old making his sixth league appearance of the season.

Leeds are currently sitting in fifth place in the Championship table, having bounced back from an awful run of form which saw them win just three games in 11 matches, the rest ending in defeat.
They were forced to come from behind against Burton, with Pablo Hernandez scoring a sublime free kick to level the scores before Kemar Roofe netted the winner.
