'Bigger loss than Wood' - Leeds fans react as league rivals reportedly plot swoop for mainstay

By Danny Wright

Norwich are reportedly lining up a late move for Leeds winger Stuart Dallas – and supporters of the Yorkshire club have taken to Twitter to warn their Championship rivals off.

The Yorkshire Evening Post have claimed on their website that Leeds are facing the prospect of receiving a late offer from their league rivals with Dallas, 26, in the final year of his contract at Elland Road.

It is understood that the winger’s contractual situation has been what has attracted the Canaries, who seem eager to do business with the Whites, despite Dallas featuring in five of the six opening fixtures for the club in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and supplying two assists in the process.

Leeds supporters clearly aren’t set on the idea that Norwich should be eyeing up one of their first-team mainstays and as a result have taken to social media to hit out at the East Anglia club for plotting the late approach.

One supporter even said that if Dallas was to leave, it would be “a bigger loss” than Chris Wood’s move to Burnley earlier this week.

Northern Ireland international Dallas has been in good form so far this season, while last term his form fluctuated in his 35 appearances in all competitons.

In other Leeds news, the Whites have reached an agreement with this enforcement and it should be made official within hours.
