Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to heap the praise on their club after Eunan O’Kane was confirmed to have penned a new four-year contract on Friday morning.

The Whites announced on their official Twitter account and official website on that the 27-year-old had extended his stay until 2021 after becoming the fourth player within a matter of weeks to agree terms for a new deal.

O’Kane has joined Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips and Tyler Denton in extending their stays at Elland Road after what has been a very productive summer for the club.

After Thomas Christiansen was made manager and sealed considerable additions to his squad, he then saw his team win both of their first two matches of the campaign against Bolton and Port Vale to lift the mood among the fan base even more.

O’Kane was a crucial part of the team that earned a 3-2 victory at Bolton as he played 90 minutes, meaning that Christiansen could see the Irishman as having a big role to play in the coming months.
