Leeds fans react on Twitter to reported interest in Ranieri

By Derek Smithson

Leeds are reportedly interested in Claudio Ranieri for their vacant managerial role – and the club’s supporters have backed the move on Twitter.

The Daily Star claim that owner Andrea Radrizzani has approached the 65-year-old to become the new Whites boss and believes he could get them into the Premier League.

The report details that Aitor Karanka has been lined up as another potential suitor, but Ranieri is believed to be the first-choice target.

The Yorkshire giants are on the lookout for a new manager following Garry Monk’s resignation on Thursday, something that has left fans bitterly disappointed.

Ranieri is currently out of management following his shock dismissal from Leicester in February, despite winning the Premier League title with them in the 2015/16 campaign.
