'Gutted', 'Incredibly frustrating' - Leeds fans react as player Twitter post rules him out of Sun

Leeds United fans took to Twitter to wish Tyler Roberts all the best in his recovery after he revealed on the social media site was “absolutely gutted” to have suffered a serious injury so soon after his arrival.
United released a statement on their official website on Wednesday to explain that the January signing has a small crack to his shin and is facing an extended spell on the sidelines.
Roberts is set to see a specialist for further assessment before the club can put a specific timescale on his absence but they expect him to be out for some time.
The player took to his personal Twitter account on Wednesday evening to promise supporters that he would be working hard to “come back even stronger” from the shattering blow.

Leeds supporters reacted with dismay as yet another player has succumbed to the injury and suspension crisis that has robbed the team of so many key players since the turn of the year.
Many expressed sympathy with Roberts and urged him not to rush his recovery and to put his long-term prospects at the club ahead of short-term expediency.
Here is a selection of the best messages on Twitter:

Roberts has not been available for action since joining Leeds from West Brom on deadline day for an initial £2.5million rising to a potential £4million.
The deal was hailed as a coup by United given not only the Baggies’ desire to keep him but also the sheer number of clubs keen on signing a player available for a relatively affordable fee given that his contract at the Premier League club was due to expire in the summer.
