Leeds fans react to Samuel Saiz display against Oxford
By Harry Sykes
Samuel Saiz was a second-half substitute in Leeds United’s 2-0 win over Oxford on Saturday – and fans took to Twitter to hail the new signing.
The Spanish playmaker was introduced midway through the second half of the Elland Road clash as a replacement for Pablo Hernandez.
Saiz made a big impression with supporters, who praised his technical quality and ability on the ball.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

I know it’s only pre season but Orta’s recruitment so far has looked good. Saiz, Pennington and Alioski looked good. #lufc

Saiz is one of the headline signings of what has been a major recruitment drive by United this summer after he completed a £3million move from Spanish second-tier club Huesca earlier this month.
The 26-year-old Real Madrid academy product was one of the outstanding players in La Liga 2 last season, scoring 12 goals as Huesca narrowly failed to secure promotion to the top flight.
In other Leeds transfer news, a left-back has headed to Elland Road as he aims to secure a permanent transfer from top-flight club.
