'Get in', 'Magic', 'Great' - Leeds fans rave over much-maligned in win v QPR

Leeds United picked up a rare victory in the Championship against Queen Park Rangers on Sunday at Elland Road – and fans were delighted with what they saw from midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

Yet another goal from the midfielder, having netted last weekend, had supporters of the club showing some appreciation for the often much-maligned 22-year-old, as he scored the Whites second of the game – his seventh in all.

Last time out in the league, the Leeds born ace thundered in a 25-yard rocket against Norwich City but it was not enough to see the team through as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Carrow Road.

There was no repeat of letting a lead slide on Sunday though.

In what has been a distinctly average season from the Whites, Phillips has been one of the players deemed by supporters to have been at the heart of their mediocrity’ and one man fans were keen to see the back of.

However, after his display against the Rs, the Whites faithful were literally singing about the 22-year-old, who they do not seem quite so keen on dumping off this summer.
