Leeds United midfielder Samuel Saiz was ruled out of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday but could return for the visit of Bolton Wanderers to Elland Road at the end of the month, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Fans are gutted by the news of the player’s injury, given that he has been one of only a few who have performed with some level of consistency throughout the current campaign.
But against Reading last week, the Spaniard looked out of his depth as he struggled to manage a hamstring injury that hampered his display in the 2-2 draw.
In fact, injuries have blighted his progression since January and along with a spitting ban, he has been limited to only six outings for the Whites.
The Yorkshire outfit are in the midst of a downward spiral, with just one win since Paul Heckingbottom replaced Thomas Christiansen in the Elland Road hot seat – a move by Andrea Radrizzani that looks to have made little to no difference
Against the Owls, Tom Pearce was brought into the side by Heckingbottom in place of Saiz, who grew into the game as it went on.

Your glad he didn't play peter.. Ffs.. Clueless. Samu is the only key bar Pablo any good. The team has 7 or 8 players simply not good enough. Nx season won't be different unless radz invests in quality..

I’d have played Saiz with one leg rather than half the shit on display today.
