Leeds United are in hot reported pursuit of Union Berlin left-back Kristian Pederson – and fans have delivered mostly positive verdicts on Twitter.
German publication Bild claim that Bundesliga II side Union are willing to cash in on the defender after missing out on promotion this season.
The 23-year-old, who stands at 6ft 2in, has been a mainstay for Union in 2017-18, making 31 appearances and only missing two games through injury.
Capped five times by Denmark at Under-21 level, Pederson plays in a position which has been a problem area for Leeds since the sale of Charlie Taylor to Burnley last summer.
Leeds signed Laurens De Bock from Belgium in the January window but he struggled to settle in the Championship, and Tom Pearce was promoted from the Under-23s with some success following the latest suspension received by Gaetano Berardi at the end of the season.
Supporters of the Championship giants believe Pederson could be a fine signing for Leeds given his physique and aerial prowess, although a few cautioned they would want to learn more about him.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Looking at whoscored ratings/stats he looks a good player, do you know a lot about him?

He’s 6′ 2″ and a bit of a beast, according to Wiki, which suggests we could be learning from our mistakes last summer…
