Leeds United fans have been reacting on Twitter after it was reported that the club will cave in to demands made by Pablo Hernandez as contract talks between the two parties rumble on.
The Yorkshire Evening Post claimed that Hernandez, 32, is still in talks with Leeds over extended his current deal which is due to expire at the end of the season.
It is understood that the Championship club will meet the ex-Swansea attacker’s demands after yet another fine performance on Saturday proved just how pivotal he is to the squad.
Leeds are said to have opened talks with the Spanish attacker three weeks ago after Paul Heckingbottom said that he wanted him to be in his squad for next season.
Whites supporters appear to be more than happy with the update on Hernandez’s situation at Elland Road, however one sceptic fan claims that it “smells like the [Garry] Monk situation” after the ex-United boss quit last May.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
Our best player by a country mile.Should have been tied up ages ago.If he wants to know who we plan to sign in the summer I don't blame him.Must be fed up with playing with some of the current squad.

Hernandez has been ever-present for Leeds this season.
He has made 39 appearances in all competitions, scored nine goals and supplied 10 assists.
The 32-year-old was on target in the 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Saturday and it is reported that he will wear the captain’s armband against Preston on Tuesday with Liam Cooper injured and Gaetano Berardi suspended.
In other Leeds United news, a £1.5million deal has been agreed for this defender wanted by the Whites.
