Leeds fans react on Twitter to Barrow display v Fulham
By Harvey Byrne
Leeds fans were left unimpressed with January signing Modou Barrow’s appearance from the bench on Tuesday evening.
The 24-year-old pace merchant came on for Hadi Sacko with half an hour to go in the match at Craven Cottage.
The score stood at 1-0 to Leeds as the Gambia international entered the field through a Tim Ream own goal.
However, Tom Cairney’s stoppage time equaliser made sure that Garry Monk’s team would be returning to Yorkshire with just a point.
Key Leeds men Luke Ayling and Chris Wood were missing for the encounter and a number of the stand-ins were heavily criticised after the draw.

One of those was Barrow with a large section of the fan base keen to slate his 30 minute display on social media after the match.
One fan claimed a wheelbarrow could have done better than the Swansea man, while another simply shared ‘the less said about Barrow, the better’.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
very poor in every aspect last night, Barrow too when he came on. Pedraza, Pablo and Roofe behind Wood for QPR.

@V2Misery Douk was excellent tonight. Barrow was very poor, wish we’d kept Sacko on

Barrow's performance was dismal. How did he get into the Swansea squad #lufc

I think every player tried their best. Maybe not so much Barrow but the less said about his cameo the better! #lufc

Barrow made the switch to Leeds in the winter from Premier League outfit Swansea until the end of the season.
However, Tuesday evening’s appearances marked just his fourth since joining, while he has failed to start a match for Garry Monk’s team.
With the season now nearing it’s closing stages, Barrow will need to heavily improve on his displays to ensure Leeds finish in the play-offs.
