By Will Butcher

Leeds fans reacted with shock on Twitter as Pontus Jansson failed to live up to their lofty expectations during the 2-0 loss to Brighton on Friday night.

The 25-year-old started alongside Kyle Bartley at the heart of the Leeds defence, as Glenn Murray converted from the penalty sport against the 10-man team.

Jansson was caught out a number of times as Brighton exploited their numerical advantage, as Murray and Sam Baldock connected well in attack for Brighton.

Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to Jansson’s display, with many surprised with his defensive work as Garry Monk’s side lost to the Seagulls.
