Leeds fans react on Twitter to major Steve Evans development
Leeds United fans have been out in force on Twitter after it was confirmed that former Elland Road manager Steve Evans had quit his job at Mansfield Town.
The Stags announced on their official Twitter account on Tuesday that Evans, 55, has decided to step down from his job at Field Mill, as well as his assistant manager Paul Raynor, after 16 months in charge.

Evans managed Leeds between October 2015 and May 2016 before he sacked by Massimo Cellino and was replaced by Garry Monk.
The Glaswegian, who has previously managed Rotherham, took over at Elland Road with United just one point above the Championship relegation zone.
In that season, he managed to survive the drop in emphatic fashion, guiding the White to 13th place.
In a major development on Monday, Evans has now left his job at Mansfield, leaving the Nottinghamshire club 5th in the League Two standings.
Leeds fans took to social media to react to the news and here is a selection of their tweets:
Odd one that? Must have been a falling out because football wise they are only 2pts off 2nd

Evan’s exit comes a quite a surprise considering Mansfield are performing well in League Two lately and look good to achieve promotion this season.
However some Leeds fans seem to be suggesting that he may have his eye on managing a club higher up the Football League pyramid, with Peterborough currently without a man in charge.
In other Leeds United news, Heckingbottom has admitted that he cannot do anything to improve this £3million Whites player.
