Leeds fans react on Twitter to reported PL interest in Wood
By Harvey Byrne
ESPN reported on Monday morning that Sunderland and West Ham were interest in Leeds striker Chris Wood, but Whites fans on Twitter are intent on keeping their star man.
Wood, 25, has been a key figure in a successful Leeds team this season with 17 goals in 29 encounters in all competitions.
He has helped lift the club into an impressive third place in the Championship table, having just passed the halfway point of the campaign.
The report states that the club are also to eager to keep hold of the impressive forward and have placed a mega valuation of £15million on him.
The money received would be huge for any second tier side, but Leeds fans on social media have kept the stance that the player is worth more than the fee considering their current position.

Pointless selling Chris Wood for any kind of money! We need to keep all current players, there is no need to upset a winning formula #lufc

I understand why the Club have put a price of £15m on Wood, to scare Clubs off, but seriously I wouldn't sell him at any price anyway #LUFC

Wood joined Leeds in the summer of 2015 from Premier League side Leicester for an undisclosed fee thought to be around £2.5million and £3million.
He has come under criticism at times from his own fans, but it is clear that Garry Monk must now keep hold of his top scorer if he is to achieve promotion.
In other Leeds transfer news, Andy Ritchie believes everyone is talking about this Whites man.
