Leeds fans react on Twitter to Roofe display against Wigan
By Alex Stevens
Kemar Roofe returned to the Leeds starting XI in their 1-1 draw against Wigan on Tuesday – and fans took to Twitter to criticise his performance.
The Elland Road summer signing was restored to the team in place of the injured Stuart Dallas as Garry Monk make a single change to the side that lost to Derby at the weekend.
Mowatt was selected in the starting XI for only the third time in Leeds’ 13 league fixtures this season, and only his sixth start out of 16 matches in all competitions.
But the 23-year-old endured a difficult evening on the left flank as Leeds failed to hold on to the win after Chris Wood’s early goal.
He played the full 90 minutes of what was a frustrating match for Monk’s side as Shaun MacDonald grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser.

Not saying they are bad playing, but also don’t think, Roofe & Antonsson are up to championship standard yet #lufc

#LUFC Great to see Roofe get a full 90 mins. Ran his socks off.

Need to invest in the squad in Jan, no cover for Dallas, Roofe crap and need a striker to take some of the burden of a Wood! #lufc

Midfield was hardly in the second half and Wigan were in the bottom three, Roofe didn’t do a lot again with his chance tonight #lufc

Roofe needs to step up right now #lufc
