Leeds fans react on Twitter as Sol Bamba starts for Cardiff
By Will Butcher
Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter after former defender Sol Bamba was named in Cardiff’s starting eleven to face Bristol City in the Championship on Friday night.
The Ivory Coast international is one of two new signings starting for Neil Warnock’s new side, along with former QPR winger Junior Hoilett.
Former Arsenal star Marouane Chamakh and ex-England international Kieran Richards have both been forced to settle for a place on Warnock’s bench.
Bamba has become reunited with Warnock at Cardiff weeks after he mutually agreed to terminate his Elland Road contract on September 1 despite being club captain with the Yorkshire giants.
Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter in amusing fashion, with many apologising for Cardiff fans already.

Former Leicester and Palermo stopper Bamba will team up with Warnock as well as his assistant Ronnie Jepson, who has followed Warnock to the Cardiff City Stadium following time together at QPR and Crystal Palace as well as Leeds.
Bamba, who is lining up alongside captain Sean Morrison, signed for Cardiff after talks with Derby County and Bury fell through.
The commanding centre back made 56 appearances in all competitions for Leeds, scoring five goals.
