Leeds fans should be thrilled after 'brilliant' Monday development - Hutton
Alan Hutton has suggested Leeds United fans should be buzzing over the next generation of talent at Elland Road.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Scotland defender admitted it was “some going” for the Whites to have four players star for England’s under-20s.
Cody Drameh, Lewis Bate and Sam Greenwood all started Monday’s 6-1 win over Romania, while Joe Gelhardt came off the bench.
Gelhardt, who came on after just 12 minutes, netted twice on the way to victory.
None of the aforementioned quartet are established in the senior side at Leeds yet.
However, Hutton insisted the future looks incredibly bright for the Yorkshire giants.

Hutton told Football Insider deputy editor Russell Edge: “I think it’s brilliant.
“As a Leeds fan, you’d be looking at that and thinking we’ve some top quality players coming through in the next couple of seasons.
“It’s not easy to get into the England under-20s, England under-21s and especially not the first team.
“If you’ve got three or four starters out of 11, that is some going. That is some really good, talented players coming through.”
Bate joined Leeds from Chelsea this summer, while the other three arrived last year.
Greenwood signed from Arsenal, Drameh from Fulham and Gelhardt from Wigan Athletic.
Of the four, centre-forward Greenwood is the only one to make his first-team bow for Leeds so far.
He came on as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat to Crawley Town in the FA Cup last season.
Greenwood, Gelhardt and Drameh have all been on the substitutes’ bench in the Premier League this season.
