Leeds fans stunned as Tottenham swoop for Harry Gray
Leeds United fans have been stunned as Tottenham are looking to sign young star Harry Gray after securing a deal for Archie Gray in the summer.
At 15 years old, Gray is one of the most highly-regarded stars in Leeds’ academy, following in the footsteps of his brother who joined Spurs for £40million in July.
However, there are now concerns that he could continue to follow in those footsteps by joining Archie in moving to play under Ange Postecoglou.
Given his age, the striker is not eligible to sign a professional deal at Elland Road for another two years, meaning interested clubs could poach him for a low compensation fee.
Leeds have already seen one 15-year-old, Finlay Gordman, walk away in a £5million deal to join Manchester City last season.
Gray has represented England at Under-15 and Under-16 level, and is a regular feature for Leeds’ Under-18s side where he has scored eight goals in 11 appearances.
He was also a part of their pre-season squad and has featured for and trained under Daniel Farke already, but could be tempted to move to the Premier League with Tottenham.

Archie made his first-team debut and established himself as a regular feature of Farke’s team aged just 17, and fans have tipped Harry to do the same after a bright start to his career.
However, with the older brother having made the move to London in a big-money deal, Tottenham have set their sights on a family reunion.
Taking to social media in response to the news, many Leeds fans were resigned to losing the striker already, while others held hopes that no deal would be reached.
