Leeds fans stunned by Ao Tanaka display vs QPR as stats emerge

Leeds fans have taken to social media to praise midfielder Ao Tanaka after his latest performance in their 2-0 win over QPR on Saturday (November).

The 26-year-old was absolutely everywhere at Elland Road, ending the game with an impressive 94 per cent pass accuracy rate, two ground duels won, and two chances created.

Tanaka has been a revelation for Daniel Farke’s side since coming into their starting eleven, playing the full 90 minutes in their last eight Championship games.

Jayden Bogle’s 19th-minute goal opened the scoring before Joel Piroe doubled their lead in added time to secure all three points.

Leeds head up to second with 29 points from their first 15 games of the season, with third-place Sheffield United set to play arch-rivals Sheffield United on Sunday (November 10).
