Leeds fans stunned by what ‘appalling’ Joe Rodon did for Wales

Leeds United fans have been left stunned by what Joe Rodon did as Wales drew 0-0 with Turkey in the UEFA Nations League.

With the score level, a cross into the box fell perfectly to the centre-back just six yards out, but he managed to fire over from close range.

It was the biggest chance Craig Bellamy’s side managed to create in the whole game, but Rodon’s terrible record in front of goal showed yet again.

Despite the eventual scoreline, Wales had the better of the game with 67 per cent of the possession and 15 shots to Turkey’s five.

Their performance was also underlined by an impressive defensive performance by the Leeds centre-back who played a key role in keeping a clean sheet.

However, fans have struggled to get the image of his miss out of their heads and many were vocal in their anger as replays emerged on social media.

However, he has suffered a slow start to the season with Leeds and many fans have been critical of his performances so far.

He resumed his regular place at the back for Wales in the Nations League and turned in an impressive display, but the spotlight focused on his glaring miss.

Now, fans have taken to social media to share their frustrations surrounding the defender and his poor record in front of goal.
