Leeds fans tear into Maresca after what he said about Elland Road
Leeds United fans on social media were quick to remind Enzo Maresca of his pre-match comments after their 3-1 win over Leicester City on Friday evening.
The Yorkshire club closed the gap to the Foxes at the top of the league to just six points after a dramatic clash at Elland Road.
The visitors took the lead through Wout Faes early on, but Leeds fought back with late goals from Connor Roberts, Archie Gray and Patrick Bamford to secure all three points.
Daniel Farke’s side have now won nine consecutive games and are chasing down Leicester for the league title.
Leicester boss Maresca appeared to play down the importance of the match before kick-off with his comments to the media.
