Leeds fans threaten to walk out after Archie Gray transfer news emerges

Leeds United fans have threatened to turn their back on the club if Archie Gray is sold amid links to Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Gray, 18, had his breakthrough season last time out, making 52 appearances in all competitions despite his tender age, often filling in at right-back as well as his natural midfield position.

However, his impressive performances have attracted strong interest from some of England and Europe’s top clubs after Leeds failed to earn promotion from the Championship.

Football Insider, meanwhile, revealed that Leeds are prepared to do “everything they can” to keep the gem at Elland Road beyond this summer.

Leeds United fans fume as Archie Gray exit on the cards

Given the club’s difficult financial situation and likely need to sell players, Gray has been tipped for an exit as he would earn the club pure profit from any incoming fee.

Supporters fumed at the idea that Gray could be allowed to leave, with several other sellable assets tipped for exits ahead of him, with one saying it would “destroy” the relationship with the fans.

Meanwhile, other supporters named extortionate prices they would accept to allow Gray’s exit.

In other news, Everton are poised to sign Jack Harrison this summer.
