'You being serious?' - Leeds fans in uproar after report makes shattering claim
By Alex Stevens
Leeds are preparing to sack manager Garry Monk – and supporters are in uproar on Twitter.
The Sun claim the Yorkshire giants are set to axe Monk and replace him with a foreign boss after suffering promotion heartache on Saturday.
It is said that Leeds joint-owner will shake up the coaching team following the team’s failure to make the end-of-season play-offs.
Leeds drew 3-3 in a thriller against Norwich at Elland Road on Saturday, but will end the campaign in seventh after losing out to Fulham for the final play-offs spot.
Supporters gave Monk a thunderous ovation in the aftermath of Leeds’ disappointment on Saturday and have made it universally clear on social media that they want him to be handed a long-term contract.

Fans are now hugely concerned at the possibility that Monk, 38, will be dispensed with by club chiefs at the end of the campaign.

Worrying rumblings about not keeping Monk on. This could be the biggest own goal by #Lufc in a long long time if true

Monk has transformed the fortunes of the club since taking over a team last summer that had limped to five consecutive finishes of between 13th and 15th in the table.
But Leeds lost four of their final seven matches of the season and won only one of them as they could not maintain the momentum of their strong form earlier in the campaign.
In other Leeds United news, a stunning £14million bid is being prepared as deal edges closer with Premier League big hitters.
