'Imperative', 'Must start' - Leeds fans urge Christiansen to recall midfielder for clash against Fulham
By Harry Sykes
Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to urge Thomas Christiansen to recall Ronaldo Vieira to the starting line-up for tomorrow’s (Tuesday) league clash against Fulham.
Vieira has failed to make the starting XI for each of Leeds’ opening two league games after being a mainstay of the side that finished seventh last season.
But supporters are keen for the central midfielder, 19, to start against Fulham, who beat the Yorkshire giants to one of the play-off spots following a storming finish to 2016-17.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Some positives to take from yesterday, but Vieira must start on tues and klich/bridcutt must replace Phillips entirely in the squad #lufc

Impressed with his substitutions today as I was Wednesday. Think it’s obvious Vieira needs to start over Phillips… #LUFC

Vieira made 43 appearances for Leeds in all competitions, 29 of which were starts, last season after graduating from the club’s academy.

His performances led to a place in the England Under-20 squad that won the World Cup this summer and his subsequent late return to pre-season training could have accounted for him being ignored for the season opener at Bolton.
Vieira started the League Cup 4-1 win over Port Vale last Wednesday and was a 61st minute substitute in the goalless draw at home to Preston on Saturday.
